For the past year, the federal government has required that travellers entering Canada show proof of a negative molecular test, such as a PCR. Effective 4/1/22, fully vaccinated travelers to Canada from USA will not require a pre-entry covid test. Unvaccinated or those not completely vaccinated.

Vaccinated travellers will no longer need a molecular COVID test to enter Canada starting Feb. 28, and can instead opt for a potentially. Starting February 28, Canada will no longer require PCR tests for fully vaccinated travelers and will accept rapid tests. They must also show proof of a valid COVID test result at the time of boarding. After August 31, , foreign nationals will need to be fully vaccinated.
