Does Zoom allow you to have two meetings scheduled at the same time initiated from the same account? IE two 50 person meetings at 6pm? Go to Solution. Hi tschultz89 , It is possible, but it depends on your account type. You can find out more about hosting concurrent meetings. Our tests have not shown a limit to the number of meetings that can be in one user account as long as there are different folk to host them. For instance, we have successfully run and recorded to cloud 5 concurrent meetings each with a different alternative host on one user account.

Did Zoom change their settings? I am no longer able to log onto the same Zoom ID using two devices? Why did Zoom disable the share file function in the chat? I can’t share any files now in live sessions. I can be logged into a computer and a mobile device at the same time, but logging in at a separate computer client does log the first client.

However, this does only apply to the client being logged in to your user-account. It should not prevent you from joining the meeting twice – once from each computer. If your account is part of an organization, any other restriction may be imposed by your administrator. Another option would be to create a free second account in Zoom on a different email – and keep your second client logged in with this user. You would not be able to Host any meetings from there other than free ones but it would enable you to stay logged in and join other meetings, without logging-off your first machine.

You could pass Host from one machine to another, once the meeting is started, if you needed to. When you say you can’t log on to two devices, maybe you mean that you can’t join the same meeting from two different devices? For example, a PC and a smart phone.

If so, meeting host may set registration and have banned it. I have a question relating to this! It should resolve the issue. F Steenken. It eases our work on our moodle-site! We wonder if it’s possible to apply the username from moodle as display name in zoom as well — our participants would appreciate that very much!

Many thanks again! Hi F Steenken, I do know that it does work for the desktop app I’ve tested it within the past year or so. I don’t know how the Zoom mobile app would behave. For the mobile app, it should depend on the method that Zoom’s website uses to trigger the mobile app to open on a user’s device. I would hope that Zoom’s website would send along the specified name from the URL and that the Zoom mobile app would use that name if the user is not already logged in. If Zoom’s website isn’t doing that or the mobile app doesn’t support that functionality, then that may be a good feature request for Zoom.
